This product is equipped with easy-to-reach buttons for precise manual tuning of the AM/FM radio. Thanks to the automatic frequency control, the hearing protection locks the reception on your favorite station, even in areas with a poor signal, ensuring the best possible reception.
The sound from the radio is automatically limited to a safe level thanks to the innovative EPS (Electronic Protection System). The product also allows you to connect communication radios in the input to external sound sources, which ensures optimal security.
This helmet hearing protector is fully compatible with Hellberg's SAFE visor system and can easily be adjusted to your size for optimal comfort and fit. Soft cushions with the smart "snap-in" system make replacing the cushions simple and easy. Included 2 pcs. 1.5V AA batteries ensure up to 130 hours of use.
The attenuation value for this helmet hearing protector is SNR 29 dB, which is the average of the attenuation in dB. High-frequency sounds such as squeals are attenuated by 33 dB, medium-frequency sounds by 26 dB, and low-frequency sounds such as hums are attenuated by 19 dB.
To ensure optimal noise reduction and maintain a high standard of hygiene, it is recommended to replace the sealing rings (hygiene set) twice a year. This ensures that the earcups fit tightly and that the earmuffs work as intended.
It is important to choose the right hearing protection, as the ear should ideally not be exposed to a noise level of more than 75-80 dB.
