Hellberg Secure React hearing protection 46002-001 SNR 30 dB is an advanced hearing protection that provides complete protection against harmful noise while allowing you to listen to AM/FM radio and communicate with your colleagues.

The hearing protection is equipped with level-dependent microphones in each earcup, which ensures excellent directional hearing. This allows you to hear conversations, warning signals and other important information without compromising the protection against noise. The microphones produce a natural sound and ensure optimal sound quality.

One of the unique features of Hellberg Secure React hearing protection is its ability to adapt to the situation. The level-dependent functions and the radio functions are controlled independently of each other, which means that you can tailor the hearing protection to your perfect safety and wearing experience. You can also connect communication radios in the input to external audio sources to achieve optimal security.

The hearing protection is fully compatible with our face protection system, Hellberg SAFE. It can be easily set manually via the radio setting or automatically via the frequency control. There is also a stepless adjustment of the size, so you can achieve optimal comfort and fit.

You can expect a long battery life with Hellberg Secure React hearing protection. It uses 2 pcs. 1.5 V AA batteries included in the package and can provide up to 120 hours of use. There is also a 3.5 mm input for connecting external audio sources.

The hearing protection has been tested and meets the safety standards EN 352-1:2002 with an attenuation value of SNR 30 dB. This is an average of the attenuation in dB, where the attenuation value on high-frequency sounds is 34 dB, on medium-frequency sounds is 27 dB, and on low-frequency sounds is 20 dB.

Maintenance of the hearing protection is important to maintain a high level of hygiene and ensure that it works effectively with optimal noise reduction. A hygiene kit is available for the hearing protection and it is recommended to replace the sealing rings 2 times a year to ensure that the earcups close tightly.

Remember to choose the right hearing protection! It is recommended that the ear is not exposed to a noise level of more than 75-80 dB. To assess whether the hearing protection is sufficient, you can use a simple calculation. First, you need to know the noise level you are in, which you can measure with an app on your phone. Then you can calculate the most optimal SNR value for your noise level. In the example above, it is 24-29 dB for a noise level of 104 dB. Maintenance:

A hygiene kit is available for the hearing protection. To maintain a high level of hygiene and to ensure that the hearing protection works as intended and provides it
optimal noise reduction, it is important that the ear cups close tightly. It is therefore recommended to replace the sealing rings (hygiene set) twice a year.

Choose the right hearing protection!

The ear should preferably not be exposed to a noise level of more than 75 - 80 dB.
It is therefore not important to choose a hearing protector that can reduce the noise to an acceptable level.
