The average attenuation in dB, also known as the SNR value, is 24 and the product is approved according to the EN 352-2 standard.
It is important to choose the right earplug to protect your ear from the noise level. An ear should not be exposed to more than 75-80 dB. Therefore, it is crucial to choose an earplug that can reduce the noise to an acceptable level. You can calculate yourself whether the earplug is sufficient using a simple calculation. Start by knowing the noise level you are in, which can be measured using a noise measurement app on your phone.
For example, if the noise level is measured at 104 dB and the SNR value of the earplug is -26 dB, you can calculate that the noise your ear is exposed to is 78 dB. For a noise level of 104 dB, an SNR value between 24-29 dB is ideal.

The attenuation value:
- The damping value for high-frequency sounds, e.g. the squeal, is 27 dB.

Choose the right earplug!
The ear should preferably not be exposed to a noise level of more than 75 - 80 dB.

First, however, you must know the dB you are in.
